Dale Earnhardt Jr announced on Thursday that he’s signed a personal services deal with Sony Electronics, possibly building up his image from the party type person with Budweiser. This deal doesn’t mean Sony will be on his car.
Junior still has another year to go with his Budweiser deal, but Hendrick has already stated he has other sponsors for all 4 of his cars. Off course Hendrick did say in the past that his stable was full before Dale Jr was signed. It is therefore highly unlikely Junior will wear Budweiser colors in 2008, but we’ll see.
So the big question in 2008 for JR Nation is his No. 8 and his sponsor. We’re still working on the No. 8 answer, right JR Nation. Hendrick has asked DEI to sell him the No. 8.
